Refunds and cancellation

Cancel Premium

1. Open Manage account and sign in.
2. Choose Cancel renewal and confirm.
3. Choose Refresh payment status and check that renewal has stopped.

Razorpay won’t charge you again. Premium stays until the end of the month you paid for, and device voices stay free after that.

Refunds

We don’t refund part of a month. If you cancel partway through, Premium stays until the month ends.

If you were charged twice or by mistake, email support@readhalo.com within 7 days of the charge. Write from the email address on your ReadHalo account, and include the date and amount, and the payment ID if you have it (it starts with pay_). We’ll refund duplicate and accidental charges. Never send card details or sign-in codes.

Refunds go back through Razorpay to the way you paid, and usually reach you in 5–7 business days.

This doesn’t affect any rights you have under consumer protection law.

How a refund affects Premium

A full refund ends the Premium that payment paid for. If you were charged twice, the month you still paid for carries on. A partial refund doesn’t end Premium. After a full refund, you can buy Premium again once the refunded month would have ended, or sooner after we’ve looked into it.

A dispute (chargeback) pauses Premium from that subscription and cancels its renewal, so you aren’t charged again. Email us and we’ll sort it out with you.

Extra listening

Extra listening, bought with Add listening, is a one-time purchase, so there’s nothing to cancel. It lasts a year from the day you buy it.

If you haven’t used any of it, email support@readhalo.com within 7 days of buying it and we’ll refund it in full. Once any of it has been used, we don’t refund it. We always refund duplicate and accidental charges, as above.

A full refund or a dispute (chargeback) removes whatever is left of that purchase. Otherwise, audio it already paid for keeps replaying until the year is up.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account ends Premium straight away, including any time left, and any extra listening, and doesn’t refund them. Cancel renewal first: you can’t delete an account while it has a subscription that isn’t cancelled. See deleting your account.
